We’re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of commercial and residential electrical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6–24 months’ QS experience who wants to develop a long-term career in the electrical and construction sector.
Main Duties
- Assist in preparing valuations and cost reports for projects
- Monitor budgets and project expenditure
- Support tender preparation and review subcontractor quotations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project managers
- Contribute to final account preparations and settlements
Skills and Knowledge
- 6–24 months’ experience as an Assistant QS, Junior QS, or similar role
- Experience within electrical, construction, or related industries preferred
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, able to work well with different stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Eagerness to learn and progress in a quantity surveying career
