The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a landmark New Build Hotel Project. You will be part of a dynamic and experienced commercial team, assisting in the management of cost control, procurement, valuations, and subcontractor payments throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets

Support in procurement and management of subcontractor packages

Prepare and process valuations, variations, and final accounts

Monitor project costs and highlight areas of concern

Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors to ensure project financial success

Contribute to cost reporting and forecasting

Requirements:

Relevant degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

Previous experience in a similar role within a main contracting environment

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Keen interest in progressing a long-term career in the commercial construction sector
