Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Office Location: Central London (3 days)

Site Location: West London (2 days)

Package: £30,000 - £40,000 plus car allowance and bonus

Skilled Careers are working with a leading Main Contractor who have an impressive turnover of £120m and they specialise in the Commercial and Residential sector.

Due to an excellent growth, they are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a New Build Hotel project in West London that is valued up to £25m.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor.


• Assistance with the procurement of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers.


• Contribution to the analysis of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers tender returns.


• Subject to the prior approval of the Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor and in accordance with company contractual arrangements, authorise payments in respect of interim and final applications for payment from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.

Requirements

• Experience working for a UK Main Contractor.


• Ideally specialised in the New Build sector.


• Degree qualified.


• Ambitions to progress within the business.
