Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Package: £35,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance
Are you ready to accelerate your career with one of the biggest names in construction? Skilled Careers is partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor boasting an impressive £1bn turnover. With a huge streak of success and a pipeline brimming with high-value projects, they’re looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
You’ll play a key role in delivering a £30m Commercial New Build/ Refurbishment project in London, working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.
What You’ll Do:
? Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the project runs smoothly and profitably.
? Assist with preparing and submitting monthly CVRs and progress reports.
? Help manage and optimise project valuations and cash flow.
? Work with the team to develop strategies and maintain contractual obligations.
? Gain exposure to agreeing final accounts for main and subcontractors.
About You:
?? Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
?? Exposure to commercial or large-scale new build/ refurbishment projects.
?? Ambitious and eager to grow your career within a Tier 1 contractor.
?? Strong communication and organisational skills.
