Are you an accounts professional looking to join an organisation devoted to professional development and providing a supportive work environment? Black Fox Solutions are currently recruiting for a leading commercial truck dealership who are looking to bring an Assistant Credit Controller to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing credit checks on potential new customers
- Periodic credit checking of existing customers
- Setting and monitoring credit limits
- Communicating with customers to chase current and overdue debt
- Liaising with customers to resolve payment issues and discrepancies
- Communicating with customers to ensure receipt and processing of large invoices
- Handling customer queries professionally
- Weekly and monthly debt and cash reporting
- Issuing company customer statements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced accounts department
- Previous credit control experience in a commercial environment (minimum 6 months)
- Be able to work on own initiative and manage time to meet strict targets
- Possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills and all-round computer literacy
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written and both internally and externally
- Possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Possess an ability to structure workload in an efficient manner
- Be able to cope working under pressure
