Assistant Client Manager responsibilities
Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all compliance and advisory needs.
Oversee the delivery of statutory accounts, VAT returns, and management reports, ensuring all submissions are completed ahead of deadlines.
Support the wider team by sharing knowledge and insights, utilising internal frameworks to optimise workflow.
Identify and implement business development opportunities to improve internal processes and add value to the firm's service offerings.
As the successful candidate you will
Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 3 years of experience within a professional practice environment.
Possess strong technical and analytical skills with a commercially savvy approach to client service.
Be a confident communicator, capable of leading client meetings and motivating a delivery team.
Have the ability to adapt to new accounting technologies and a drive to contribute to the firm's growth.
In exchange you will receive
Competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
31 days total holiday (23 days annual leave plus bank holidays).
Flexible working hours and hybrid arrangements (minimum 3 days in-office).
