Administrator

Our client is a family run business operating across Hertfordshire. They pride themselves on delivery reliable, high-quality service.

They are looking for an organised and proactive full-time Administrator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a mix of customer communication, scheduling and general office admin tasks.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering calls, emails and messages.
  • Dealing with customer queries professionally.
  • Scheduling jobs and coordinating the Engineer’s workload.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and invoices.
  • Keeping records up to date and handling general admin duties.
  • Liaising with suppliers and ordering materials as and when required.

Essential skills:

  • Previous admin experience (in plumbing/heating or trades industry is a bonus but not required).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable using basic admin software and booking systems.
  • The ability to work well in a team but also work independently when required, using their own initiative.

You will be employed on a full-time basis, working 40-hours per week, Monday – Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The role offers a pay rate of £13.00 per hour (£27,000 per year approximately) along with 28 days of paid annual leave including bank holidays.
