Administrator/ Client Account Administrator – Experienced in working in administration, sales support or account coordination roles?   Come and join our team as an Administrator/ Client Account Administrator, based at our Farthing Road office in Ipswich, Suffolk on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the role:

As the Administrator/ Client Account Administrator, you will ensure our operations run smoothly by supporting our field-based Sales Manager and collaborating with our admin and transport teams to deliver excellent service to our clients. You will ensure client accounts are well managed by doing quoting, order coordination, follow-ups and reporting. In this role, you will be office-based and work Monday – Friday from 9am – 5:30pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send tailored customer quotes, diligently following up to convert enquiries into confirmed orders. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all client inquiries.
  • Manage day-to-day client accounts with precision ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and support internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates within our CRM systems.
  • Generate regular reports and updates on client activity to inform strategic decisions.  -

About you:

You must live within a 45-minute commute of our office in Farthing Road office, as this is an office-based role.  It is essential that you have previous experience in administration, sales support or account coordination roles as we need someone with a positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset. Also required are strong communication skills both written and verbal, a keen eye for details as well as being highly organised and methodical to manage multiple priorities efficiently. You will be confident in using Microsoft Office and CRM systems and experience with Glass Office software is desirable, although training will be provided.
