We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to support residents’ wellbeing through engaging and meaningful activities.

Position: Activities Coordinator
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Location: Llandovery, Dyfed
Hours: Part time, 18 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Ongoing

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to residents’ daily lives by delivering a varied and engaging activities programme. You will support individuals living with dementia and those requiring nursing care, helping to promote their physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering a range of stimulating activities tailored to residents’ needs and interests
• Organising events such as seasonal celebrations, parties and community activities
• Managing the activities budget and ensuring resources are used effectively
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with requirements
• Encouraging participation and building positive relationships with residents and their families

You will be a warm, friendly and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and creating meaningful experiences.

Experience in a similar role is not essential as full training will be provided.

This role is based within a well established nursing home located near the historic town of Llandovery, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The home supports residents living with dementia and those requiring nursing care, with a strong focus on delivering high quality, person centred support in a welcoming environment.
