Black Fox Solutions are currently working with an award winning accountancy firm who are looking to bring on a new Accounts Technician or Part Qualified Accountant on to the team. If you are an experienced Accounts Technician looking to take the next step in your career, or a Part Qualified Accountant looking to expand your practice experience, this is a great opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.


• Preparing and submitting VAT returns on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.


• Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for clients.


• Assisting with tax compliance, including preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and liaising with tax authorities as required.


• Communicating with clients on a regular basis to provide updates on their financial status and answer any questions they may have.


• Providing clients with an excellent level of service and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company and industry regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role


• You may be a qualified accounts technician, a part qualified accountant or qualified by experience


• Experience working within a practice environment on the preparation of both financial accounts & taxation and providing clients with general financial business advice.
