Accounts Senior – Top 30 Firm – Stevenage

Our client is a Top 30 firm with a strong presence within in the local OMB client base but part of a leading international network offering overseas secondments. They are a strong business partner to their clients, so look to hire people who want to add value to their clients.

Accounts Senior responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership of preparing management and statutory accounts, maintaining accurate records, and applying month-end adjustments while working closely with clients and managers.


• Complete VAT returns with strong technical accuracy and support clients with ad hoc projects such as cloud software conversions, bespoke reporting, and catch-up assignments.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively sharing best practices to improve processes and efficiency.


• Supervise and train junior team members, collaborating across internal service teams to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

As an Accounts Senior you will be/have:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified or due to undertake your final exams in the coming months.


• Experience of reviewing accounts preparation assignments.


• Demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team.

In return, as an Accounts Senior, you will receive:

• 35-hour week.


• 10am-4:30pm core hours.
