They combine the technical expertise of a larger firm with the personal, relationship-driven culture of a local practice, advising a diverse portfolio of clients across Essex, London, and internationally.
Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior responsibilities
Prepare year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Support the delivery of audit engagements, assisting with field work and compiling robust working papers for review.
Maintain accurate cloud-based bookkeeping records and prepare VAT returns using modern systems like Xero.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, resolving queries and contributing to the firm's ethos of exceptional service.
As the successful candidate you will
Have between 18 and 36 months of experience within a UK-based public practice firm.
Be actively studying towards your ACA or ACCA qualification.
Possess strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax compliance.
Have demonstrable experience using cloud accounting software, specifically Xero.
