Our client is an established independent firm with a strong presence across Essex and London, currently operating with 7 Directors. They are known for their people-focused approach, providing bespoke financial solutions to a broad range of entrepreneurial businesses, from innovative start-ups to large private groups.

Accounts & Audit Senior responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a varied client base, ensuring all deadlines and technical standards are met.


• Prepare complex statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for a diverse portfolio of SMEs and owner-managed businesses.


• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice on accounting treatments and identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.


• Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development through on-the-job training.

As the successful candidate you will

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with a proven track record in both audit and accounts within a UK practice environment.


• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).


• Have experience leading on-site audits and managing the full accounts production process for multiple clients simultaneously.


• Possess a commercially minded approach and the ability to build lasting relationships with business owners.
