Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing the delivery of all statutory accounts services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on complex accounting and reporting matters.
- Plan, control, and review the work of the accounts preparation team to ensure high-quality output.
- Prepare and review consolidation workings for complex group accounts.
- Deliver high-quality statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and International accounting standards.
- Report directly to Partners and Directors, playing a key role in business development and department growth.
As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will:
- Hold a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA)
- Possess significant experience within a public practice environment, specifically in business services or outsourcing.
- Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge of FRS 102 and statutory disclosure requirements.
- Have a working knowledge of Xero and Caseware to drive efficiency in financial reporting.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing junior team members.
