Black Fox Solutions are currently working with a leading construction company based in Ballymena. If you are an experienced accounts professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join the team at a growing company, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Utilise accounting software Sage to manage financial transactions and reporting.
- Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by management.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial services.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new systems.
