Role: Accounts Technician

Location: Cookstown

Hours: Full Time (8.30am–5pm)

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 (experience dependent)

The Role:

The client is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to join their friendly finance team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with core bookkeeping duties and preparing year-end accounts for a group of small companies. This is a varied, hands-on role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll be involved in:

• Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements


• Quarterly VAT returns and submissions to Companies House


• Bank reconciliations, cash book postings, and sales ledger management


• General accounts and admin support as needed

The Requirements:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accounts Technician (AAT/IATI)


• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a busy finance/accounts setting


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with accounting systems


• Sage Accounts Production experience – desirable


• Great attention to detail and solid time management skills


• Self-motivated with a friendly, team-first attitude
