ABAS Manager responsibilities
• Own and manage a substantial client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee a mix of year-end statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance, and specialist outsourcing projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and minimising the need for Partner intervention.
• Lead and inspire a growing team, taking responsibility for workflow management and on-the-job training for junior staff.
As the successful candidate you will
• Be ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Have a proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio within a practice environment.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in statutory accounts preparation for owner-managed businesses.
• Possess experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
