The Role: 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver
We’re urgently looking for an experienced multi-drop delivery driver to join our logistics team at Gottlieb Packaging (Trafford Park). This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (07:30 – 16:30, with a 30-minute break), covering regional deliveries across the Northwest (Manchester/Liverpool/Preston) — typically 15–20 drops per day — using a Ford Transit curtain-sided van.
 
As part of a close-knit team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries to our customers. While this is primarily a daily driving role, there will be some occasions where you’ll also assist in the warehouse or provide holiday/sickness cover on our 7.5T truck, if eligible.
 
3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver - Key Responsibilities 

• Carry out regional multi-drop deliveries using a 3.5T Ford Transit curtain-sided van
• Complete daily vehicle checks, and weekly records as required
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Manage relevant delivery and collection paperwork (customers, suppliers, internal)
• Liaise with office and sales colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations
• Occasionally assist in the warehouse with picking, loading/unloading and general support (may involve forklift use – counterbalance)
• Help maintain a safe, tidy and compliant warehouse environment 

What We’re Looking For

• Must live within approx. 5 miles or a maximum 30-minute commute of Trafford Park (due to local traffic congestion)
• A full, valid driving licence (permitting you to drive a 3.5T vehicle)
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries (ideally 15–20 drops per day)
• Good knowledge of the Northwest roads network (helpful for route planning)
• Forklift (counterbalance) licence is desirable – training can be provided if needed
• 7.5T driving entitlement would be beneficial, though not essential
• A reliable team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to follow instructions
• Polite, professional, and customer-focused at all times
